01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Located in Toyotamakita, Nerima Ward, RAMEN Suehiro serves a comprehensive lineup featuring fried rice and gyoza alongside its noodle bowls. The fried rice keeps a distinct, well-separated grain texture, thoroughly tossed with diced roast pork for a satisfying heft, while mild pickled ginger served on the side cuts through the richness cleanly. Generously stuffed dumplings are also on offer, making it easy to assemble a hearty meal by pairing noodles with a half-portion fried rice service set or a plate of gyoza.

The signature Suehiro ramen features a fragrant soup capped with plenty of crushed sesame, yielding a gentle mouthfeel where the savory notes of sliced chashu add definition. Broth options extend across regional styles, including Kyushu-inspired Genkai with its rich white-fat pork-bone depth, a clear salt broth built on natural sea salt, a robust red-miso base, and classic soy sauce. Diners can fine-tune their bowl with richer kotteri broths, spicy accents, or extra chashu. For a lighter appetite, the Yasasii Ramen tempers sodium while piling on vegetables, offering a tailored option for any mood.

From 5:00 in the evening, stir-fried vegetables, mapo tofu, set meals, and à la carte dishes join the bill, turning the room into an unhurried dinner spot suited for a cold beer and an assortment of bar bites. Takeout is also offered for fried rice and other items, making these welcoming neighborhood Chinese flavors an easy staple from quick lunches to settled evening dinners.
